Christmas Decoration: How to make snow globes using mason jars

IMG_3358aChildren like very much christmas snow globes! Especially when they make them their own, the pleasure is even greater! Here is a good idea to spend quality time with your children and decorate your home for the festive season!

What you need:

A mason jar
Distilled water
Blue food colouring

IMG_3214Start by deciding which figurines you want to use and use the glue to attach them to the lid of the mason jar.

IMG_3222While the glue is drying, fill the mason jar almost to the top with water. Then add a dash of the glycerin that makes the glitter drift around in the water and take longer to sink to the bottom.

IMG_3236Pour in the glitter, screw the lid on tightly and let sit for a bit to be sure it’s completely dry.

IMG_3273Once your jars are dry, turn them upside down, shake gently and let it snow! Tip: To achieve this effect you could add a couple drops of blue food coloring.
